Earn credit for your camp fees! Volunteers needed for project

If you are interested in helping up transform some old desks for our schoolhouse, please get in touch with me. Sometime in the next month or so I will be taking 8 old school desks that I bought and cleaning, sanding, and refinishing them. I’d like to remove some of the rust off the feet too. I could use some helpers. Earn credit toward your child’s summer camp fees! I’ll give you $15 an hour credit toward camper’s fees. The desks are in my home garage now. You don’t need any experience, just be able to do a little physical work. Call Karen at 541 968-1986 to sign up!

Knitting Day looks like low turn out

Since I didn’t get much of a response on knitting day, I’m not going to hold it this year, and we can just hope for more response next time. I will be giving a tour of the farm to interested potential volunteers on Sunday at 1 pm, so if you want to meet with me to discuss how you can help, please let me know by calling 541 968-1986. Thanks! Karen

Wintertime at the Farm

Hi everyone! With winter upon us, we are battening down the hatches at the farm. The hay is piled high in the barn and the heat lamps are on all the time for the bunnies and ducks. The roof has been fixed and now the tasks fall more to storm clean-up! When the wind blows we sometimes get downed tree limbs so those have to be cleaned up.

ladies knittingWe hope you will join us on December 10th for a fun and cozy Fiber arts playshop- the only one we have for adults! Of course, older kids are welcome with a project to do. Bring your knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, or whatever fiber arts project you are working on and sway stories and tips as we work around the wood stove. Hot drinks provided. Call Karen to pre-register and see our events page for more info. 541 968-1986.

thanks and stay warm!
